Robert was a beloved friend and true hero to all who knew him! He was a man of strength, integrity, and joy; and he experienced life to its fullest despite struggling with ALS for 14 years. His smile was contagious and his spirit infectious! His personality could fill a room without him every saying a word, as his soul spilled out larger than life even as his body failed him. To know Robert, was inspiration to live all in… REALLY LIVE.. no excuses. To know Robert, was to be humbly better because of Robert. He left this earth on May 20, 2024, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love that will never be forgotten!

Robert and his precious family, gifted his brand new all-terrain wheelchair, affording a “no limits” experience at the ranch for those whom otherwise might not be able to experience the beauty of nature in its fullest at WhistleStop Acres. We commissioned it into service officially on October 13, 2024, with great anticipation of the lives he will continue to touch.

Robert gave so much to this world while he was with us. Through his zest for life, as well as his love of people, the great outdoors, and animals big and small, we are inspired to carry on his light that shines so bright, as we seek to humbly honor his legacy through the VIP experience at WhistleStop Acres.

We love you, Robert! May every all-terrain chair experience at the ranch shine a light of joy towards heaven in a beautiful, deserving nod to you, our friend!
